Re-Encode Files for HyperDeck to be played in TV Studio
When receiving media files from external broadcasters it might be that Hyperdeck is having problems playing these media files.
To make sure the media file has the correct format for Hyperdeck we need to re-encode the original media file.
To do this, we use Handbrake an OpenSource and free software I have installed on Workstation 03 (TV Studio).
On the Desktop you click on the shortcut to starts HandBrake.
Once the interface is open you need to select (or drop) the media file you want to encode.

Next you need to select the format you want the media file to be encoded to.
Open PRESET and select ‘Production Proxy 1080p” in the dropdown menu.

Next you need to select the destination (and name) you want the media file to be saved to by clicking BROWSE.
Finally you can Start the Encoding process.

After encoding is done, you can copy (transfer) the converted media file to the SSD drive to be played on the Hyperdeck.
MAKE SURE NO OTHER FILES (FORMAT) ARE ON HE SSD !!!
